WaylouN's 2026 single "Saints and Beasts" comes after a long halt since our last release. It was worked on right after the previous release - single "Democracy Is a Lie", but with the tumultuous situation of the protests and war, it was postponed to a more stable condition. At the time of releasing "Saints and Beasts" the war has not officially ended, but here it is anyway!

Saints and Beasts is about the inner struggles of human beings, when we try our hardest to balance our feelings while in a hardship, or in a way; chaos - one of WaylouN's main themes.

Sound

Musically, "Saints and Beasts" is a big step away for us in terms of the sound, and a more progressive advance towards what WaylouN style is. Yes, we never commit to the absolute, we always accept what comes our way, and what we do with it to create something and put it out. We are not at a stage for setting a reliable criteria for what is or not well-recieved among listeners, we will hopefully get there soon enough.

Lyrics

Lyrically, as mentioned before it "Saints and Beasts" is a song about how you should stop fighting what's not going one's way, or how rough life becomes, since we are in a constant chaos. Wether we like it or not, it is impossible to live a linear life. We need the chaos, how we manage to come out of the other end of this chaos, is what makes us who we are. So - in words of WaylouN - why not have a dance and dine with this chaos? Why not believe that it is a phase, that although it could last a long time, but it can be not as overbearing as it seems to be.

Final Thoughts

yet again, "Saints and Beasts" is another work that makes us proud of the final product. Even though most of our audience (according to spotify-if reliable at all) are mid-aged males, we made this song for a younger audience. We don't see this song as an artistic take on hardships of life, we believe that "Saints and Beasts" is the very reality that we all must go through, one will almost always come out victorious, but it is the way you come out, so why not accept it and have fun!
